In our first nine years of beach, we have seen over 1,200 athletes compete, qualified 108 teams for beach nationals, won 101 junior titles, and finished 13 teams in the Top 5 Nationally! Our 12U won the 2019 USA Beach National Championship.
Are you looking for a way to take your game to the next level? Become a more complete volleyball player? Develop better ball control? Improve defense? Become faster? Jump Higher? Increase your range? Then Beach Volleyball is for you!
Olympic Head Coach and Gold Medalist Karch Kiraly recommends beach for all players. According to Karch, "It's easier to take your outdoor skills into the gym than bring your indoor skills outside. Simple reason. Beach forces you to have all the skills! That's why I think every player should play beach. Learning those skills will help improve a player's indoor performance."
USA Volleyball's John Kessel recommends beach too. He says, "The beach game is great for improving your indoor skills. Whatever your weaknesses are, you get to work on them every rally. Unlike the 6 person game, you touch the ball in every rally with only two players covering the court. You learn to read and anticipate much better. It teaches you to adapt. Beach requires ball control and skill more than physical giftedness."
John Cook says, " We feel there are many advantages to training in the sand and we have gone as far as building an indoor sand court at Nebraska. Not only can the players play on the sand, but we can train them to jump higher and move faster."
Beach is a must for any player looking to become the complete volleyball athlete !
Our beach club now has two seasons. Our spring season starts in March and will practice to compete in Beachfest in Gulf Shores, Alabama and the USA Earlybird Beach Qualifier. Our summer season begins in May and runs through August. The summer beach club will have the option to compete in 3 local tournaments, 1 National Beach qualifier, and 1 Riverfront Event. Teams will choose which events they want to compete in from the list of tournaments below.
Players register individually for the beach club. We encourage players to find their own beach partner. We always reserve the right to re-assign beach partners as needed.
Beach club fees include practice with coaches, court space, apparel, and beach tournament registration. Teams are welcome to play in more events than what is provided in the Beach Club Fees. They will need to register and pay for those events on their own.
We understand that many families may have vacation plans and high school players may have conflicts. We would love to see all players at each practice but understand some players may have other commitments.
Spring and Summer Beach practices at Bowlero in Elkhorn, NE.

The Elite Beach League will provide players opportunities to learn and play beach. Beach is one of the best training opportunities to develop the ability to read, increase defensive range, and learn to jump. Reading is the one of most important elements in volleyball. The majority of top collegiate volleyball programs in the country spend quality time training in the sand during their off-season.
Our Beach League will start with a rules introduction. League play will include a series of different competition formats. Beach players will compete with their partner as well as with other partners. Players will compete to earn points each week. The last session of each month will be organized into a League Championship Tournament. Teams will be placed in pools and then compete in a single elimination tournament to determine the Elite League Champion.
We encourage players to find their own partner, but we will do our best to pair up individual players if necessary.
The Elite Beach League is open to players between 10-18 years old. We will play Wednesdays from 8-12 PM at Bowlero in Elkhorn, NE. See the schedule below. All players will receive an Official Elite Beach Tank.
